This glass art exhibition object was designed by Bibi Smit and is called 'the ice house' and was produced at the Glasfabriek in Novy Bor.
Bibi Smit's exhibition object focuses on a strong symbolic theme: the house shape. The ice house consists of a glass house with two smaller massive houses. Although the houses are abstracted, they are still easily recognisable. In the hands of Smit, they comment on the individual place in the world and become bearers of personal dreams and realities. The object invites you to ask questions: are you in the house or outside? What does the imprint that the smaller houses have left on the larger house mean? One thing is certain: the object harbors magic and serenity!
The Glaskunstbeurs Jaarobject is signed, is in excellent condition, and comes with certificate and original box. Number 146 of a limited edition of 250 copies.
